CALIBRA is an automatic machine for checking Size of cork stoppers with a diameter from 23 to 31mm and height from 38 to 54mm.
Available in various configurations by combining the various sensors on request, CALIBRA subdivides into three classifications "non-compliant" stpooer from "compliant" ones for a total of 4 divisions: Conform, Size (Height and Diameter) and Color.
Upgredable software, Ethernet connection, operation diagnostics and HMI operator interface make CALIBRA compatible with modern certifications on the ergonomics and efficiency of the workplace in logic 4.0

DETECTION OF DIMENSIONS
A LASER emitter combined with a CCD sensor and a motion sensor, detect the diameter and height of each individual stpooer.
Its accuracy in mm is +/- 0.5 or +/- 0.2 in height and +/- 0.1 in diameter.
Furthermore, a software filter makes it possible to pass chamfered plugs without affecting the average diameter calculation.
With this sensor, UNICA can also be used with extreme reliability for the division of caps of different sizes accidentally mixed.

SLOWLY / NOMINAL / FAST
UNICA has a nominal productivity of 24,000 Stoppers/hour, however there may be cases where, depending on the required accuracy or the conditions of the material being worked, it is more efficient to program a different speed.

Slow       : 18.000 stoppers/h   Accuracy +/- 0,2 mm
Nominal: 21,000 stoppers/h   Accuracy +/- 0,2mm
Fast        : 24.000 stoppers/h   Accuracy +/- 0,2mm

CONFIGURABLE
The software of UNICA has been studied in order to adapt itself to the different configurations made necessary by the different needs of the customers.
The result is a single software able to manage any Hardware and Mechanical configuration (including that of the sister CALIBRA), allowing compatibility to future developments to all machines, regardless of their configuration.

MENU STRUCTURE
A sophisticated machine like UNICA, inevitably has many options and settings.
Setup, Calibrations, Variables, Testing etc. are all functions managed by a simple and intuitive HMI (Hunan Machine Interface) MENU. This type of interface allows the maintenance of the machine in optimal conditions even without the use of specific equipment.
MECHANICAL CALIBRATOR
Oval caps, depending on how they appear under the sensor, may provide variable readings, including erroneously compliance. Moreover, the deformation could be such as to compromise also its passage along the power supply system.
To avoid this problem, CALIBRA has been equipped with a mechanical Calibrator able to identify and eliminate these types of caps, improving the quality of the finished product and the productivity of the machine.

COLOR SENSOR
The COLOR sensor of UNICA, is an RGB sensor capable of accurately discrimination to non-compliant color.
IIts precision is such that it is possible to discriminate not only natural color stoppers from white stoppers, but also with intermediate colors.
It does not require specific skills, it is programmed by self-learning of a single cap.
